  • Module pool: define more complex patterns of interaction with the user through a collection of screens. Each screen also has a "logical flow", which refers to the implicit ABAP code invoked by the screens, which in turn is divided into "PBO" (Process Before Output) and PAI (Process after Input).
  • Object-oriented programming language, designed to allow application developers to write the program once and execute it on any device.
  • Java functionalities (Client applications, Client/server applications, Web applications).
  • JRE: necessary software to run any application developed for the Java platform.
  • Java libraries. They offer support for Java development.
  • API: three platforms in an attempt to cover different application environments: JAVA ME, JAVA SE, JAVA EE.
  • Thanks to the packages that hang from the root javax we can obtain extensions and related architectures.
